Oyster Creek Park / Trail : Sugar Land TX
If you are looking for a great walking and running park/trail make sure you go to Oyster Creek Park. The address is 4033 State Highway 6 South Sugar Land, TX 77479. If you want to see the trail here. The park is open till 10 pm. I would say that it is safe after dark, just be careful. If you are going to be out after dark bring a light. The flashlight on your cell phone will not work good enough. Please you do want want to waste your phone battery . The best time to come to the park is before the Texas heat is too hot. I would say any time from 6 am to 10 am is great. You will see a lot of people walking and running the park. You will also see people walking their dogs. A few people will be on bikes, this is more of a walking / running park. If you are not into walk or running you can still enjoy the park. The park has a number of charcoal grills. the grills are on the left side of the park as you walk in. You can also just enjoy the views and sounds on one of the many benches or bring your own chair / picnic blanket.

In addition to the Greenbelt trail, a water feature with rock lined falls and a pond is constructed near the Hwy 6 entrance, adjacent to Oyster Creek.
